SCHEDULING
The Training Academy is available to all emergency service agencies.
Training Academy courses and Middletown Township Fire Department
companies have preference over all other agencies requesting use.
Use of the drill ground is scheduled on a first come, first serve
basis.
The Training Academy does not guarantee the availability of the
facility on any given date.
Facility
Request
Forms must be submitted to the Plans
& Programs Director a minimum of
two (2) weeks prior to the requested date. Agencies requesting
instruction from a specific Instructor must do so at the time of
request. Request forms may be sent via fax, email or standard mail.
Agencies
requesting use of the facility must provide proof of insurance for
those members attending. Agencies
must submit an outline of the training to be conducted on the
requested date. Agencies may request the Training Academy to provide
the instruction.

STAFFING
The Training Academy has predetermined staffing minimums with
respect to all hands on/drill ground training. The minimum number of
Training Academy Instructors must be present for all training.
Firefighters with Instructor certifications shall not count toward
the Training Academy staffing minimum. Company/Department Officers
and Company Instructors may plan, deliver and supervise their
Company/Department training.
INVOICING
Agencies
requesting use of the facility shall be invoiced prior to the
requested date. Checks or payment vouchers must be delivered by the scheduled date
of usage. All drill ground rentals shall be invoiced for a minimum
of three (3) hours. Unless otherwise indicated, rentals that last beyond the initial minimum
hours shall be invoiced for additional usage for each additional
hour.
FEES
Due to
changing costs in materials, fees may be subject to change without
notice.

Submit your
Student Registration Forms as early as possible to ensure enrollment
in semester courses.
Reserve your 2012
training dates early. Submit your Facility Request Forms as soon as
