Class A Burn Room Emergency Deluge Fire Suppression System Installed.

Sprinkler Fitters from Local Union 696 donated their time along with materials donated by Rich Fire Protection, Pleasantville, NJ and Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Corporation to install an emergency fire suppression system to the upcoming Class A burn room in the academies training tower.

The system is designed to quickly suppress training fires should an incident occur requiring the immediate and swift termination of a training evolution.  Board Members John Drucker (Director of Safety), Jake Lawrence (Director of Facilities) and Sal Izzo (Instructor) collaborated on the systems design and implementation.
